Matt Papa is an associate at the firm and practices entertainment transactional law, specializing in the representation of production companies, on-camera talent, writers, directors, and producers. Prior to joining the firm, Matt worked for Live Nation Productions as business and legal affairs counsel in connection with several of the company’s film and television development projects and productions. Matt began his career as a production attorney at Hansen Jacobson Teller Hoberman Newman Warren Richman Rush Kaller & Gellman, LLP, where he spent nearly two years negotiating and drafting development and production deals for many of the firm’s production company clients.
Matt’s experience also includes legal internships at Hirsch Wallerstein Hayum Matlof & Fishman, LLP, William Morris Endeavor, FX, and BMG Chrysalis.
A Los Angeles native, Matt is engaged to a public defender, and is passionate about travel, boxing, the Lakers, and his dog, Da Vinci.
