Meredith House recently joined Del Shaw after developing her practice in media and entertainment transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and film finance at a Los Angeles law firm. Meredith counsels clients with respect to a wide range of entertainment, corporate, and intellectual property-related issues in the unscripted and alternative department.
Meredith grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. It was during her years as a performer at Walt Disney World when she realized that she wanted to pursue a legal career in entertainment. She was accepted at University of California, Berkeley, School of Law (Boalt Hall) where she received the American Jurisprudence award for both Criminal Procedure and Entertainment Law – TV and Film, the Prosser Award for Constitutional Law, and the Law and Technology Certificate. While in law school, she studied at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg, Germany, where she earned a Certificate in Management and Leadership for Lawyers. When not working, Meredith enjoys hiking and visiting national parks and baseball stadiums.
