Patrick Gutierrez is as an associate attorney in the firm’s Unscripted and Alternative Practice group, where he practices entertainment transactional law and structures, negotiates and drafts deals on behalf of production companies, content creators, on-camera talent and entertainment executives.

A first-generation American, Patrick grew up in Los Angeles and graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a B.A. in Philosophy and Psychology. During law school, Patrick was an executive editor of the Harvard Journal of Sports & Entertainment Law and served as a Harvard Defender, representing low-income defendants in criminal hearings.  Patrick’s experience also includes legal internships with Marvel Studios and the Brooklyn Nets.

Most recently, Patrick was an intellectual property and corporate associate at Greenberg Glusker where he counseled clients on intellectual property protection, enforcement and licensing and advised businesses on a wide range of corporate maters.

Patrick is a board member of the Mexican American Bar Foundation and enjoys playing and watching sports, dancing, and going to the beach whenever he can.
