Tara Senior practices entertainment transactional law as co-head of the firm’s Unscripted and Alternative Practice group. In the television, film and digital industries, Tara counsels and works with clients from conception to completion on their development, production, distribution and deal-making needs as well as provides strategic business advice on how to best achieve their career goals. Her clients include production companies, producers, writers, creators, executives and on-camera talent.

Tara approaches her work for clients with a big picture perspective supported by both long and short-term goals, which she helps define with them through thoughtful and constant communication. This process helps maximize their value in the growing media landscape. Her keen knowledge and understanding of the scripted, alternative and digital industries directly contributes to her clients’ abundance of achievements and simultaneously expands the firm’s forward-moving practices and strategies.

Invigorated by problem-solving and enthusiastic about improving the quality of life for her clients through intellectual and indispensable legal guidance, Tara shares an interest in their accomplishments because at her core lies a driven and compassionate individual who finds professional and personal satisfaction when her clients succeed. A social worker before entering the legal profession, Tara remains committed to the ideal of empowering people to become the best versions of themselves. For more than 10 years, Tara has supported and been involved with the Junior League of Los Angeles which mentors and empowers women with programs designed for success. Tara is also a mentor in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Los Angeles, Women in Entertainment Program, where she mentors a high school student from an underserved community to help her reach her full potential.
